About IMPASTO

Emerging from the intersection of two distinct yet complementary creative trajectories, the partnership between Celeste Melgar and Hamish Strudwick embodies a rare fusion of cultural insight and curatorial vision. Together, they engage the international sphere of artists, collectives, curators, galleries, and art spaces with a nuanced and innovative approach.

Grounded in a deep-seated commitment to artistic experimentation and cultural dialogue, their work seeks to champion emerging talent, expand the boundaries of creative practice, and cultivate bold, future-oriented initiatives. Each project is underpinned by an ambition not only to produce compelling and enduring work, but to generate transformative cultural content that fosters growth and provokes meaningful engagement.

More than a collaboration, this partnership functions as a curatorial force and evolving platform for reimagining the role of contemporary art in shaping global narratives. It serves as both a reflection of and a response to our cultural moment, dedicated to unlocking the expansive possibilities of creative expression and catalyzing a future that is intellectually rich, critically engaged, and unapologetically inspired.
